IMImobile a leading global provider of end-to-end mobile engagement software and solutions to telecom operators, enterprises and media companies, today announced that it has been shortlisted for three Mobile Innovations Awards.
The inaugural Mobile Innovations Awards recognises technological excellence in the use of mobile within the commercial sector throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The expert judging panel including Chairperson Sandra Quinn, Mike Cowen, Head of Emerging Payments for the UK & Ireland at MasterCard and Paul Berney, Co-Founder and CEO EMEA of mCordis, shortlisted entries based on innovation that has led to increased business efficiency and tangible business results.
Annich McIntosh, CEO of The Mobile Innovations Award said:“The entries have proved to be a melding of technology excellence and commercial acumen. It will be very interesting to see how the panel of judges views the entries and which emerge as the winners.”
IMImobile has worked with Mobile by Sainsbury’s, a joint venture between Sainsbury’s and Vodafone, to build a CRM and Loyalty solution that allows Mobile by Sainsbury’s customers to link their mobile number to their Nectar card, earning points through topping up, purchasing bundles and shopping in-store. The solution allows Mobile by Sainsbury’s to offer its customers a unique loyalty experience that differentiates their network in a highly competitive market.
The pan-African Universal Music Group music streaming service ‘The Kleek’, designed and built specifically for Africa, has been shortlisted for ‘Most Innovative App for Entertainment’. Through the application, African mobile users have access to a massive range of content, including artist, genre and celebrity playlists; exclusive album previews; artist diaries and charts.
Alex Klose, Head of Marketing at IMImobile commented: “We are excited to be shortlisted for three Mobile Innovations Awards simultaneously. It is an impressive list of finalists and the quality of the entries is testament to the ever more dynamic mobile marketplace. Our work with Mobile by Sainsbury’s and Universal demonstrates that we deliver tangible business results for our clients by utilising our creative and technical skill set.”
The winners of each category will be announced at The Mobile Innovations Awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House on 8th July.
